The character of Hellboy has come a long way since its humble beginning on the pages of comic books. Who is Hellboy?

Hellboy’s birth name is Anung Un Rama, which means “Beast of the Apocalypse”. He is a demon who through Nazi occultists, was brought to earth. The paperback collection received 2 Eisner Awards, and ultimately has been credited as the basis for the initial Hellboy feature film.
